I answered (knowing it was a scam) the guy told me he was from the IRS when I asked. complete misrepresentation. I informed him that I had a CPA and he immediately told me to go F*** myself, I called back to annoy them and inform them they would be hearing from my lawyer for harassment and fraud. Not something I normally do however the scams in the world are terrible and I try to inform others and help get information to the right places to help stop this type of behavior, if anyone has any recommendations as to the best way to do this let me know and I would be very appreciative!
These people called me and felt a few voice mails saying that the IRS is filling a law-suit against me and that I had didn't field my taxes from 2009-2014, and that I owned over $4,000.00( SCAM, SCAM, SCAM) So, I called the IRS myself asking them and they said it wasn't them and that they are still trying to catch whoever is doing this.
THEY JUST CALL ME THEY SAID I OWN 8000 TO IRS IF I DONT PAY CHARGES WILL BE AGAINST ME I TOLD HIM SEND ME THE STATEMENT HE SAID NO THIS IS BEEN A LEGAL THING I SAID GO AHEAD SEND ME THE POLICE LOL
Same as others above-IRS found a miscalculation in my 2010-2014 tax returns, wanted me to send $5,786; told them I could give them a credit card; then said I could pay $500 from my bank account and they would set up a payment plan. Punjab sounding foreigner with lots of people talking in background, obviously their brethren scamming too.

Same here, miscalculation from taxes from 2009-2014. When I didn't even started working until 2011 and from there on I filled jointly with my husband. These people need a real job.
They called me and told me that the IRS is forming a law suit against me. Left a voicemail and told me to transfer payments through the bank. Scam they're all scams!
