On #-10-16 We received a call from a person who claimed to be our Great Grandson. He gave us a number to write down (03R10) and said to hang up and he would call back . When the call came it was from a David Ross, Attorney, who gave us the same story as above. He needed $995 bail money within two hours in order to get our grandson out of jail before arraignment. The money was to be sent to a Natalia De La Rosa, New Jersey. He was very explicit about where to go to a Western Union in our area and how to proceed. We entered his phone number in google search and read the account above. He called back in about twenty minutes and I greeted him and told him I had just checked with the FBI. He hung up immediately.

This person called my family, and told them that my cousin was in Florida for a friend's funeral and he was in a very serious accident that ended up being his fault. The person claimed to be "David Ross" an attorney. The person on the phone claimed that my cousin was in jail and was requesting bail money. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS SCAM. My cousin was not anywhere near Florida, he wasn't in jail, and was not in an accident. He was fine, and at work.
