Called my dad who is 67 yrs old and who spoke very little english. My dad is smart and gave the phone to me, they were very adamantly want to only speak to my dad. I know how this works, some random indian accent guy which you could barely understand want personal info.

I spoke to him saying that this is his son and I can speak for him. The caller didnt want me to do this, I even inform them that my dad is right here with me. So the guy continue and said that he want permission for something, I couldnt understand him because of his accent, so I ask him to repeat again. He got upset and said that this isnt working and hung up.

Some one called from this number on behalf of "AARP medicare benefits". My husband gave them his address and DOB! Next time when they call, he might give out his SS#!

Called numerous times and wd not leave message. When I finally answered was pressured to give out personal info and when I refused was informed they already had my information.
Hung up. Long story short, they wanted to "help " me apply for State Buy-In or QMB which pays Medicare deductible for low-income people. This can be done locally by simply calling local Medicare office. Question: Why does someone in Florida want to "help" me and what are they getting out of it?

They keep calling me on my cell phone while I am in Europe raking up charges and they are a scam caller trying to get SS#'s, DOB's etc., for probable identity theft!
