Fake survey
After completing an automated "political survey," I was offered a "free" cruise to the Bahamas from Caribbean Cruise Lines.
The caller said that his company's website was: www.my2012vacation.com, and that the research was performed by a company named "FDCPHA." When I mentioned that I could not locate the research company online, he said that he company was actually "CFC Research Group." When I mentioned that this company didn't exist, either, the caller claimed that the company had no website and that he was not allowed to give me their phone number. When I asked for his name and a direct phone number to call him back, he refused and terminated the call.
This is clearly a scam that can steal money and personal information from innocent consumers.
SPAM! recording asked me to do a survey to receive a free cruise but pay gratuity and something else. i hung up shortly after answering, i just wanted know what it was
recorded call I hung up immediately
