They told me they needed my bank information in order to take me off of their call list-Umm That doesn't even make sense. And I am not that stupid. The caller id came up with Intermedia.net which is a legit company. I contacted them to let them know their name was being used in this scam. They were very appreciative. When I hung up on the caller he called back 4 times before he figured out I wasn't going to answer the phone again.
Harassing, threatening will not answer but calls and threatens to empty bank account for special needs individual
They called me and told me if I didn't pay them 300 that they would put a lien on my account
They have called me from several numbers saying that I receive magazine subscriptions they have several different company names. The guy cursed me out when I wouldn't give him my information then called back a few days later. I gave them some false information to get to a supervisor told her that that guy called me the other day and was extremely rude. She said I'm not asking you about the other day I am asking you about the guy you just spoke to. Then I told her to stop over talking me and she repeated to do it then hung up the phone and said she would have to disconnect the call. These people are scam artist first I was told that I owed them 200 something then I was told that I owed them 500 if I wanted to be on their do not call list.
I have had these people harass me at work for several years now. I hang up on them and give them no information. I know I do not owe them money and when I ask them which magazines these are supposed to be they never know. I told them if I purchase magazines I do so directly from the magazine compan,y I do not purchase them through the phone. I have told them over and over again to stop calling me at work and that I am not interested. They will call several days in a row and more than once. I now have thier number next to my work phone so when I see it I do not answer as they don't take the hint to leave me alone. The Caller is A1 Publications.
