called my cell (which has been on the national do not call list since I got this number) while I was at work so I didn't pick up. no msg, so of course I didn't call back. other sites identify the number as being in Moline, IL, and associated with a rude and aggressive-sounding 'reduce your interest rate' credit card scam.

They called me and said they had lower interest rate for me. I was amused and told them they were scammers. The lady put me on with her "boss." He then said he could get me a lower interest rate if I gave him my credit card number. I said I will report you. He hung up.

This number keeps calling my Mobil and they say the matter is urgent with reference to my credit card, it does not address what credit card. Be careful.
