Same thing- # text and wanted the VIN to run a carfax and said "never can be too careful!" So I replied that after they look at it they can run a report because I want to make sure they are a real person bc I agree, never can be too careful! No reply after that...
Craiglist scammer. Wanted email, phone number, didn't want to use CL email, asked for CL listing info (i guess to track what scam was associated with the info)
