Big squids keep calling and calling and calling

National Rifle Association calling to solicit money from you. Claiming they are working hard to protect your gun rights. Once you have signed up for their membership (to get their free monthly magazine that only one issue shows up once out of the 12 months), they consistently hound you for more funding. They call and never leave a message because they know that leaving a message is a waste of THEIR time. (Hint, hint, hint!)

If Caller ID says 310-683-2652, add them to your "Contacts" list as: N.R.A. so that you know WHO's calling you. Then answer the phone and suggest they stop calling you because you have lost faith in them. Keep saying NO, No , no, until they understand what "no" actually means. If they cannot stay within their budget, hiring telemarketers will end as they cannot afford them.

If that doesn't work with a persistent marketer, try using the same strategic ploy they are using - pretend you cannot understand them and cannot hear THEM! If they cannot listen to you telling them to STOP bothering you, you can try to not listen to them or hear THEM! Do this by saying "Huh?!" or "What?!" or "I just can't hear you..." BUT REMEMBER THIS: They are recording you and their conversation, so be polite.
