This person has a thick (What I believe to be) Indian accent. As stated above, they claim to be Officer John Marshall with the Cyber Crimes Department and that if they don't speak with the person they are trying to reach, they will come to your place of employment and to your home. They also claim that you will be found guilty of a crime if you do not return their call.
I returned the call as I am the operator for a state agency and knew the call was a fraud. The person that answered could not seem to get this John Marshall on the phone and stated they were just the assistant. I asked for the department name their work for and they stated they could not give me the requested information. I told them there were obviously not officers and that portraying an officer is a crime.
I contacted the California Sheriff department, who had me contact the Almaeda Sheriff department. Upon speaking with Almaeda, the deputy advised me that the number is a cell phone and not a landline and that a report should be made with your local police in regards to the misrepresentation. I will be contacting the police in regards to this matter. I would advise you to do the same.

Follow-up to the previous post:
A report has been filed with the Columbus Police Department in Columbus, Ohio with Report #110678499
The caller is impersonating an officer, so make sure you cover yourself and be safe. Report all incidents, regardless of how small they may seem. If someone is impersonating an officer and threatening to come to your home and place of employment, it could become a seriously dangerous situation.
Stay safe.
