Paula from Business Consumer Alliance. Very strange. Do not give information more than the publically available information.
Just got this call as well from "Paula". Called twice in a row, I picked up the second time. Seems she calls people who just got their CSLB License approved, says she's calling from BBB (Better Business Bureau), and tries to scam people for their money. Thankfully my boss, the CSLB license holder, wasn't here so she didn't get any information from us and I looked up the number before calling back. I looked up the BBB number for Culver City and it's actually (310) 945-3166. Never give any information away over the phone unless you know the phone number and caller are legit. It is a scam!
Total scam artist. She said her name was Paula and she worked with the BBB. She wanted me to buy a subscription with them and give her my credit card information. She is not associated with the BBB. Do not give her your information!
