Yup - those jack asses called several times. 312-586-7042 -- Chicago.i have had at least 5 calls in the last two weeks. REMINDER, never ever call back those scam IRS - TREASURY or any other of those calls. And if you answer the phone. , just hang up. Don't give them 2 minutes of your time.

I just got an automated voice message from this number too. And when I called, they said that I owe back taxes and they are going to take my house, cancel my drivers license and freeze my bank account if I don't pay today on the phone. I asked them to mail me a letter and they claim they already did. They also didn't know my exact address when I first called.

Received many calls to my home phone and I called them back for them to tell me that they were the IRS and I owed $1000. I asked to talk to supervisor and he refused. I got back inside and googled number only to find out it was a scam artist. IRS sends certified letter, they do not call and harass people. I would like to file an harassment suit.
