caller stated that they were from the US Governement and I was eligible for an $8400 grant... all I had to do was give them a bank account number or a debit card number so the funds could be placed in my account. I told them that if this was a governemtn grant I would give them my mailing address and the government could send me a check. The call was terminated at that point.

Has called me 13 times today asking for a "Brandon" who I don't even know. I tell them wrong number and they hang up. However one caller questioned me saying was I sure it was my number. Needless to say, they got a telling off. I have asked them to stop calling and they won't. They won't tell you who they are either but it's a different person each time calling.

Each call differs, but are all refer to getting qualified for various loan or asking if I'm still interested in a loan.

I do not let them procede that far into the phone call. I immediately tell them to take my number off their list every time they call.
