They have called several times now including Sunday evening. My phone plan is such that I have to pay for all calls in and out so their calls are ignored.

An Indian lady called me and when I told her I could not talk very rudely asked for another date AND time to call back. I was very confused when I didn’t pick up and a man told me to call them back at a DIFFERENT number… I never answered any of the following attempts to get to me.

My call came from 4243. If this is truly CDC, then why doesn't it come from a toll free number? If legitimate, why not get the information from vital statistics in each state? I don't trust anything coming from Chicago!

I received a message from them a few days ago saying they were the CDC and asking about kids ages 1-4 I didn’t respond it’s creepy call said it came from Chicago but also said Arizona and New Mexico

They called me 2 times in 10 minutes but didn’t say anything and they hung up. I called back and asked them to stop calling me and she said it was an important call from cdc, I then asked her if it was so important then why call me twice and hang up? She apologized and started asking about children in in household under 18 and vaccines. I then hung up.

If I don't know a number, I answer with "Nevada County Coroners Office. How may I direct your call?" Usually, they hang up and take me off the robo list. THIS time, I got the person from the CDC. She asked if this was a county office and I said "yes, it is" She said, "Sorry, we are only calling private numbers" Said good bye and hung up.

I'll tell you this, since I've started answering unknown calls this way, the number of telemarket calls has decrease exponentially! (By the way... there IS NO Nevada County Coroner's Office )

Seriously, this is CDC? It’s not enough that we have to see the propaganda on TV and advertised all over town-they are harrassing is at home? We know it’s flu season-it began with the first push of ‘flu shots’. That population control thing must not be working like they planned.
