CDC vaccine scam call.

"do to now response will have to call you back...." in a very rude tone. Didn't answer.

NOT A SCAM. This is a real call from the CDC. I know it is bothersome to some people, but this is very important research they must do, that is why they are persistent. No, the do-not-call list does not apply to them because the health of the country is important. NO there is no government conspiracy that involves keeping or sharing your phone numbers, these people are only doing research that will help the health of the nation. I hope you pick up, or at least treat them nicely if you really insist on refusing to answer their questions.

This was a CDC vaccine survey for childhood immunization. The disconcerting aspect of this call is that not only have we foregone many vaccines for our children but also the fact that our mobile numbers are not registered through any of the mobile carriers. I work in the security industry and am very careful of what information I divulge to banks, insurance companies, etc. The only way that my number could have been accessed by the CDC is for my children's medical records and ostensibly HIPAA-protected data to have been shared without our consent with the Federal government. (The CDC is a Federal agency under the Department of Health and Human Services.) I don't think that this is a coincidence and when you step back and look at the bigger picture it is very alarming that my family and I are on "a list" because we are using independent judgement and analysis.
