I hung up and then called my local health department who said that the CDC is NOT calling people about their 'covid experience', and they wouldn't call you, anyway, especially during the dinner hours. We've had 2 scammers from our electric coop, one from our other power utility and this one all in one week. Please tell those out there to not answer the phone UNLESS they absolutely know the number that is calling. So much spoofing is going on within your area code by 'bots that sound like they are making the call just to you. If it is legit, they'll probably leave as message.

Guess you can't blame people for being over-zealous concerning crank calls. However this one IS legit regardless what alarms others are ringing. Go ahead and give your info to the CDC concerning your COVID-19 Shot or Lack There-of and help mankind, or be one of those conspiracy nuts who contributes to a faster end of the world! I cannot say: who cares, because everyone should care.

they called my cell phone twice - 1st time left a message that they were from the CDC taking a survey about immunizations & ages of children & to call them back - don't have any children & don't think this is legit - why would the CDC be worried about children's vaccinations with a pandemic going on - what a joke. Beware!

To everyone saying this is a legitimate phone number, please understand it's extremely easy to spoof a caller ID. I can call somebody and have whatever number I want on the caller ID to display. I am in IT and have played around with this function just to see how it worked. They do this a lot from India. You think it's a legitimate site but they can barely speak Engrish.

Mine automatically sent to spam and it shows a persons name out of Chicago but when you look it up it says CDC. Didn’t leave any messages but they have tried to call twice thus far.

Unknown, but it comes up on here as CDC out of Chicago,IL. Idk anyone there. Probably scam.
