Asked if I currently had internet/cable service. I said that I had just cancelled it because of increased costs and specials were just for new customers. Right there I gave him everything he needed. He said TWC/Spectrum, right? Well we do want your business and we'll set you up as a new customer. After setting me up with internet, so I thought, he connected me with installation and TV and phone, not to exceed $99plus tax. His name was Michael. He called me 3 times. He did not ask for Soc. Sec. #, but asked for a credit card, and unfortunately I have it to him hesitantly, because there was very little balance on it. But I should not have done that. I'm a great grandmother and was really stupid about this and wanted to believe that a like TWC and AT&T really did want to help me, but when I followed up, they said they really don't offer exceptions like that. Tough lesson to learn.
Answer the call - heard noise in the background - said hello a couple of times and then disconnected!!!
Probably Philippines caller give three different names for themselves and the company could barely understand them
Asked me if I am still looking for cable and internet services. When I told her no and asked how they got my number, she hung up on me.
