They were offering to lower the interest rate on my credit card. When I pressed "1" to speak to a live person about having my name removed, the automated call promptly hung up on me.

The prerecorded message said that I needed to press one immediately because the Federal reserve was lowering interest rates and this was the last possible time they could fix my credit card interest rate.

They left a recorded message on my phone, the first part of which was cut off, so I'm unsure about the business, but they did identify themselves as a credit card company offering a "special" on interest rates
