The pre-recorded message offered credit card interest rate reduction services and if I wanted to talk to a live service rep. press "1". Got a female rep when I pressed "1". She asked if I wanted to lower my credit card interest rate. I said no and asked for her name and for my phone number to be removed from her calling list. She hung up.

"Card Services" promised to lower your interest rate on your credit cards. They try to get all of your identifying information including name, address, credit card numbers, social security numbers, etc. However, if you ask any questions, they immediately hang up. This is the same routine every time they call. This is criminal activity and they are trying to steal people's identity and bank information. Please help.

Or I tell them I am reporting them, they hang up.

Got a phone call from an out-of-state number
that I don't "know" or recognize.
I didn't answer, but looked up the number here.
They left no message.

I am on the National Do-Not-Call List,
and have been for over a year now.
(I guess this is our government at work for us.)

I'm going to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
AND to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
and see if that can get the government
to work for me, and stop these calls.
(Yes I will go through all those steps.)
We should all pile on.
