No Message

Rec'd a phone call 9/28/17 at 10:02 AM. I returned the call (on my office phone as I didn't want to provide my personal number a 2nd time). I got a voice recording asking if this call is in regard to a "new service or to make an appointment, please press #...." I played along. After choosing #2 the recording stated "if you received a call from this number we are sorry you have been troubled. The 313-879-2581 is not originating from us and we have been in contact with our carrier to resolve the problem." So- long story short- disregard the call. It's SPAM.

I do not know who this is. I searched the number on google and saw that other sites have complaints listed about threatening voice mails being left or someone being scammed. Also, some complain that returning a missed call only gets a machine recording answer, which does not actually tell you who they are or what they want. However you are encouraged to wait for a person to take the call eventually. The one time I stayed on the line to see who they are and what they want I was left on hold six and a half minutes, then the call was terminated.

I feel that all the signs point to this being a scam-by-phone-harassment and do not recommend returning the call, answering the call or believing the messages they leave you. If you MUST follow through do not give out your personal information and do not give them any money. I DO recommend asking their business name so you can check the Better Business Bureau. I also feel there is no reason to not tell them you will do so. If they demand money and threaten you with collections or court ask a manager to give you the information, name, dept, employee number, whatever and tell them that you will be exercising your right to ensure with the BBB that they are a legit busibess before giving them a penny. Then do it.

These people called me and scammed me.

I dont know who this is they keep calling me and dont want to hear from them again
