Called made from this number Oct. 10, 2012 at 09:38AM; phoned rang three times before I answered it, no one said anything when I said Hello twice. I hit the redial on my phone and went to a computer voice which said you will be transfered to the next caller. This went on for 5 minutes then I hung up the phone.

They call but don't say anything. The problem is that the caller id says SECURITY CALL. They always leave the line open and don't say anything. Or they hang up.

A women claims to be working for GE and says, "Their records indicate that your home has had a security system for more than three years and that you've been a homeowner for so many years. You've been selected to receive a free upgrade." Comes up as Security Services or Security Call on caller id. Be cautious as to how you comment!

call came answered the call new the name of a person in the home it's scary. I am reporting it to police

GE Security System, wanted to come out to my home to do a presentation for a security system.
When I called back, the recording says I reached Pacific Telecommunications Services, but says the number is used for telecommunication purposes only. You cannot take to a real person. The guy I talked to name was Troy and he also called back asking for more information. I told him that I wanted to cancel the appt. I cancelled b/c I looked online and it showed a lot of other people being scammed by this company. The real Pacific Telecom Service website (www.ptswa.com)has an alert to report the company - Pacific Telecommunications Group in CA. It says they are not a telecommunication service provider. The website recommended reporting the call to the FTC, the FCC, and the Attorney General in our home state.

Home security. I was told I was selected to receive a free home security system if I paid the maintenance fee. When I told the representative I was gathering information to file an FCC complaint, she said my number was obtained from the national security database and that she wasn't selling anything.
