False information to phish for info.
Caller asks you if you have any investment property you want to sells and proceeds with their scam pitch....stay away!
This number has called me multiple times over the past two weeks. I do not pick up and neither should you! This is definitely a scammer and they may even be running a "yes" scam. The Federal Communications Commission issued a consumer alert against just such scammers. The scammer attempts to provoke a "yes" response from the victim. The scammer may ask, "can you hear me" or "are you interested in ... [ex. selling your home], and when the victim responds with "Yes," their reply is recorded and used to authorize fraudulent charges via telephone on the victim's utility or credit card account, according to the FCC.
caller asked if I was interested in selling my home. sounded foreign too!
