Called and when I answered, they said that this was not a working extension as though I had called them. Does anyone think we can get Congress to pass a capital punishment law for owners of robocall services?

Same here. He wanted to know the current balance of my credit cards. I made up a number ($400) then he said "pay them off and you will get a lower interest rate". He then immediately hung up.

I received a call from 314-448-1666, Id tag Missouri, about credit card interest lowering. I am on the Do not call list, so I wanted to find out what company it was. The man cam on the phone after a hold and started talking about credit card stuff. I said I was on the do not call list and what company was this and they hung up. I called back but it went to a double tone and disconnected.

automated call about offer to reduce my credit card rate. I pressed 1 to get a live operator. I asked him what credit card this was in reference to, he said "we work with bank of america, chase, citi, etc" He then asked me which credit card I have the largest balance. I replied with " I don't give out information over the phone". I then heard a click and the call ended.

Called twice about 5 minutes ago. I tried calling it back and it said it wasn't a working number. Sounds like a scam.
