I only answered because I was expecting a call from my doctor in 314 area code. I said, "Hello?" 3 timed and was about to hang up when a man said, "I'm calling on a recorded line. May I speak to [drastic mispronunciation of my name]?" Since his mispronunciation included letters that aren't in my name and left out letters that are, I truthfully replied that there's no one here by that name and hung up. It's probably a scam or a telemarketing call, neither of which I care to deal with.
