Received a call to our land line from 314-627-1447 (St. Louis, MO area) this morning (Friday, 21 Oct 2016) at 10:39 am. Caller ID: Unassigned (that is a new one - I have never seen that Caller ID before.) Figuring it was some sort of robocall scammer, I answered out of curiosity. Once I said "hello" a female voice, which to me sounded like a recording came on to say, "Hello, this is Julie with Home Security Promotions, blah, blah, blah." The recorded voice talked about a home security system and then asked if I was a home owner interested in home security. I replied I was not. There was a pause after my reply and then the same female recorded voice came on to say "OK. Thank you." I hung up. Since we do not do business with any company with the name "Home Security Promotions," the call was in violation of the Do Not Call registry for both our state and for the nation.
