This number called me, and they began immediately launching in to a college spiel. I stopped the person mid-sentence, and asked where they obtained my number from. She refused to answer me, so I asked that my number be removed from their list.
It is my opinion that this company, and others like it, obtain phone numbers (even cell phone #s) from companies who sell your information to third parties.

I signed up to find out about college grants and this is one of the companies that got my number. I called back and was given the option of adding my number to their do not call list, but they never confirmed my number, so who knows if it will work.
