Yesterday (10/22/08) I received a cell phone call from "Brett" with Employment Select. He said their company was a third party verification firm, calling to verify information I had submitted on an online application for an HR Coordinator. Since I had applied for several which sounded very similar and generic, I asked him the name of the client company. He didn't answer and said they represented many companies. This sounded fishy to me for two reasons: Why wouldn't his office have record of the client company? And why would a company call the individual who submitted the information (rather than calling a former employer or school)? Calling the applicant doesn't "verify" anything. I told him I couldn't talk - was in a doctor's waiting room - and asked if I could call back. He gave me the above phone number. I won't be calling him back!
i applied to two very similar companies which i thought were real jobs. i guess not. thanks guys for posting this bogus number.
PLEASE watch the YouTube video on this link. It was part of a 6 month investigation on this company.

This is a number from a company called Employment Select. They are calling in regards to an application that you filled out online. The main goal of this number is to try to sucker you into signing up for online schools. The jobs do not exist. They are made up companies that do not exist. Please be aware! Do not fall for the scam!
Check out this too for more scam information about them:
