Call my home two times and left a message that the IRS is filling a lawsuit against me and ask me to call this number.

Got the same call stating I was going to be sued. I looked up on the IRS web page on what to do, here is what I found:

report the incident to TIGTA and to us at phishing@irs.gov (Subject: 'IRS Phone Scam')

Called at 10:19 this morning. Recorded message said the IRS was opening up a case against me to sue, and gave me a number to call to settle. I didn't even write the number down because I knew it was a scam.

This is a scam - they have several phone numbers in the NY / NJ area that they are using to target people. If you get someone on the line, they have an Indian accent and will tell you that an arrest warrant has been issued, and if you start pressing for details and proof, they will curse at you and hang up. File a complaint for impersonating the IRS.

Got a call in PA on 10/02/2015 at 6:39pm with a message saying the IRS would be suing me, and I needed to call 315-215-1576.

I too received a message left on my voice mail stating the IRS was suing me from the exact same number. It was also 10-02-2015 6:15 pm. Indpls., IN.

It's insane, they called saying they're the IRS from New York and I should call them immediately but when I returned the call no one answered. Having looked up the IRS numbers in NY none matched.
