Same call from bogus IRS. I called back and confronted an obvious foreign accent. Said I heard others in the background so this had to be a "call center", which he denied. He asked for my name and I said "I guess the next thing you'll want is my Social Security #? and he hung up. When I called back the call wouldn't go through. So they can block me but I can't block them? Yeah No Call List for doing absolutely nothing.

This phone number is a scam! If the IRS was suing you they would send you tons of mail before filing a lawsuit. Plus the IRS by law cannot get after you for tax returns filed beyond the last 3 years. This number called me too, they are scammers and need to be shut down! They must have some set of ball on them to pose as the IRS. Idiot bastards!

Pre-recorded female voice says "this is a final official notice from IRS Internal Revenue Service, the reason of this call is to inform you that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you, to get more information about this case file please call immidiatly on our department number 315-370-1340." VM received at 8:14 a.m. PDT.

I received an automated voice message / call from this number this morning. The message is the same as above at 8:22. "This is officially a final notice from the IRS, Internal revenue Service. The reason of this call is that the IRS is filing a law suit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call the IRS at the department number ..... (above number - from Auburn, NY).
