This was a survey about our current leadership in government. At one point, I asked where exactly the agent was calling me from. The agent said "Utah" although my caller ID said the call was coming from a central New York phone number. The agent then said the call was from the Philippines. The agent begged me to continue with the survey so it could be finished. The conversation was polite although I mentioned I was uncomfortable continuing with a survey where someone couldn't tell me truthfully where he/she was located. The agent wanted to give me a phone number for the Utah location so I could call them and verify. I said I wasn't interested in doing so.
