Received this call, I let it go to voicemail. It was a federal agent saying to avoid going in front of a magistrate judge or grand jury to call back this number, and it was the final attempt to reach me and to call to get my final case number. I Googled the number and found it was fake. Beware of voicemail.
The IRS will not contact you by phone. I too was contacted but did not reply. Attached is the the actual message. I filed a complaint with the IRS
Scam Robocall, when you call the number provided they address you by the name of the person who's phone is register to and will tell you that you are under a criminal investigation, then they start asking for personal information, when you refuse to give it they will hang up on you. Also the people answering have heavy foreign accents. DO NOT FALL VICTIM OF THIS SCAM
