I get these calls all the time today I get a call from some guy with a strong indian accent claiming that his name is Chris Black an that I qualified for a grant for 6,500 that was mine to keep and didn't have to pay back all I had to do is call a number an speak to his supervisor an give him my name an the id he gave me this is such BS since when does the government call you an try to give you money PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!!!!!

I just received a call from Justin black saying I was one in 3000 people who was picked for a government grant worth 6500. I asked was it for school he said no. Its money I can do with what I choose. Gave me this number to call with an I'd number. So I called the number and some Michel Adams answered said I had to have green dot card go CVS to get one put me on hold and I googled it saw this website and hope know one falls for these lies and scams.

I RECIEVED A CALL FROM MR BLACK REGARDING THE ALLEDGED GRANT MONEY ALSO. I DECIDED TOO GOOGLE THIS INFOMATION SINCE IT SOUNDED TO GOOD TOO BE TRUE. NEEDLESS TO SAY SEVERAL REPORTED CALLS SUCH AS MINE CONFIRMED THAT THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM. PLEASE BE AWARE.

I was told to call this number because I won a grant...original call came from 565-454-3434

Definitely a scam. They attempted to obtain personal information from students. They claim to be with the "Department of Grant" and will give out money for financial aid. I asked if they were with the U.S. Department of Education and they said No. I asked if they were with the government and they said yes. I asked what branch of the government and they said New York. I said what branch of government is New York and they hung up.

I just received a call from Justin Black stating he was from the US Government Department and I was one of the few people approved for a $6500 grant that I can do anything with. I immediately became suspicious so I started questioning him. I asked many questions some of which were " what is your location at the time of the call?", " Is there I contact number I can reach you at?", "How did I get picked?" along with many other questions. He became very agitated that I was asking all these question. Finally he said "Do you want your money or not?" I just started drilling him again until he finally hung up. From the began, I felt like it was a scam. If you receive any calls from this man "Justin Black", who by the way sounds Indian, either hang up, or, do what I did, question the circumstances.

This is a scam theu say u will receive a 6,500 grant ask you to buy green dot and money pack then ask for money pack number on money pack it says NEVER give card number its a scam i call back number was off i immediately transferred my money dont do it

Dang well they got me for money telling me I was approved for 6500 and was go be on card that same day I wish I could see him rt now would catch a case his name is Dave

Aske3d that I go to CVS, Seven11 or other retail store to purchase a Green Dot debit card. Asked for me to contact him while in the store buying card.

Green Dot Scam? Fake reasons, they have more information than they should about the caller.

Phone scam saying there is an appreciation grant.
