Scammer alert. Caller called from 315-407-1935, claiming to be from the Dept of US Treasury, but when I asked why the number comes up as Choice one communications in Syracuse, Ny, they keep hanging up on me. Both people I spoke to had an accent. I doubt the Dept of Tresuary or whatever BS story they're using, freelances their work to foriegners who barely speak english. Do not give them any info, esp finacial info. This is the second number they've called me from. The first was 315-636-5362. They thretened to have me arrested for not paying them. I threatenen to report them to the IRS and blocked the number.

They called my wife, so I had to follow up. When the number answered, it sounded like a boiler room operation. Someone answered the phone but not in English. When I asked for them to repeat, they hung up on me.

They left me message saying they were the IRS and when I called back from different number and they called me an idiot because I would not give him my name! He also answered the phone saying he was the US Treasury department and he was clearly not from the US!

Didn't give a name gave a badge number 70045 stating that I needed to pay or was going to go to jail today for 6 months automatically and could not be bonded out

Warning - anyone calling from Marietta, NY under phone # (315) 636-5362 is a IRS scam. They call, ask for your SS# "to be verified" and other info. Refusal = they say they are sending the cops to your house to arrest you.

#1: IRS is required by US Federal Law to contact you by regular USPS mail, if no reply, they try again by Certified mail via USPS. They NEVER EVER CALL.

By the way, the caller was an Indian male, with a heavy accent, clearly, he is fresh off the boat and ready to steal from stupid Americans who allow people like this into this country. You know what time it is. Warn family and friends.

Called and said this was our last and final notice before being taken to court for Tax Fraud....I file my taxes, the IRS knows where I live, they don't need to call me. SCAM!!!!

called my aunt also and told her she would be going to jail TODAY. When I got here I called them back it was a foreign man that said he would put her on a do not call list because i notified him that I am a tax prepare and the IRS doesnt call, the send a certified letter or show up at your door!

IRS SCAM !! called me threatened me with federal officer arrest if I don't pay immediately. I tried to verify if they know my home address, the guy with foreign accents was beating around the bush couldn't come up with my address, I kept requesting him to answer my questions he then hung up on me.....

Called constantly claiming we owed back taxes on a house. Never would answer if we tried to call back. Local tax office said that the number was not in any way connected to the IRS or other government office.
