He said he was an IRS investigator. He gave his badge number and said I would be arrested.

I got 3 messages on my ans. machine today call now someone has filed a suit against you. That's strange, if so you would get a letter from a legitimate company or law firm.

Caller: some place in N>Y> hard to understand.

Yes I received 2 calls today from the same number...315 stating that I was being sued by the IRS. I called back this morning and the guy answering the phone sounded like he was in a busy office....wanted my name and said he was with the "criminal division" of the IRS in Washington DC. I wouldn't give him my name and he said he needed to look something up and then hung up.

Total scam. If the IRS was suing anyone you would obviously receive mail and not a call from a robot.

Received a call from this number 315-683-3051 stating the caller was from the IRS with a pending lawsuit against me. They needed me to respond immediately. I refused to supply any information. This is the second such call I have received.
