I received a text message on my government phone saying, "Thank you for shopping at Best Buy. To show our thanks her is a $1000 gift card for the holidays. Just go to www.myfreeofersite.com/bestbuy for your reward". When I clicked on the site it lead to nowhere. I then typed the link into my computer and it lead to nowhere. So I decided to call the phone that the text message came into and the female voice stated, "the number you dialed is not receiving any messages at this time" then it clicked over to a continuous ring tone with no answer. I tried dialing it again 5 minutes later and it went straight to a "busy" signal. I typed the number into Google search engine and this is what showed up.

Beware of this message not sure what it is doing but I'm glad it was on a government line because they monitor it very closely.
they are sending text messages saying you have gotten a $1000 Walmart Gift Certificate...that was my first clue it was a spam/scam. I looked up the website and called the domain registrar and let them know about this scam. how shameless...during the holidays, hope they burn in hell...I am sure the site must have a virus to steal credit card info..not gonna log in to find out..but let your friends know.
Text said 'Thank you shopping Walmart. To show our thanks here is a $1000 gift card for the holidays to show our thanks.'(sic) Then lists a free offer website not affiliated with Walmart.
