Was told they had affidavit out for me pertaining to a case where my social security number was given. Spoke to the Police Dept and they said these scams are picking up again.

SCAM!!! this is the 3rd scammer this month attempting the same charade to scare people into calling them back and freely giving away their private details to criminals. If you get a call like this... just laugh at them and ask for them to send it in writing. Also report these clowns to the proper authorities.

caller doesn't identify anything, says something about a deposition and asked me to call 800-240-7702 about an affidavit. says they have my ss# to. SCAM

Got a call from these idiots. Apparently I (and my social security number) have been named as a main defendant in legal case! OH NO~!! NOT THAT!!! Idiots...I have a law degree, you cannot be named in a law suit without paper work being served to you, not via a phone call! I almost wish I had answered the call!

caller doesn't identify his name, however says his office has been retained---- in reference to a deposition listing you as being a primary defendant concerning this matter and avoid all further proceedings contact us back immediately today at 800-240-7702. your name and social has been ----- this case and affidavit, please return the call immediately
