Just got a call from Sallie Mae for this number.

Due to unemployment, my government student loan is over 120 days past due and right now I refuse to apply for a Forebearance.

I asked the foreigner to identify his company and he finally did. I then stated that I would gladly talk to an American born citizen. He said something about I could call the main Sallie Mae customer service number and I replied that it repeatedly went to the Phillipines. While I was talking he hung up on me.

This is the seventh phone number that has been used in the last two weeks. I am collecting them in my cellphone and when they call I open the cellphone to hopefully document receiving the phone call on my detailed monthly phone bill. Below is how I have coded the phone numbers into my cellphone.

I do not mind talking to an American born citizen every two weeks, but I will not be talking to two different companies with three different departments everyday.

they have called 10 times over past 1 week. when confronted they said they can assure me it was only 1 time , and this one other time but there was no answer.. .
