they called me on a Sunday at 802pm, asked for a person that does not live here. ridiculous!!!!!!
Caller: childhood leukimia
Person said she was calling on behalf of childhood leukemia (patients or socieity?). I would not give my credit card info over the phone and asked for a paper solicitation. They were not hostile, but definitely wanted the credit card info.
When I googled the number, it came up as a scam, so I contacted the Childhood Leukemia Society to let them know about the call. I am waiting for their response to let me know whether it is legitimate or not.
