I just got the same call. Spoke to 2 people there. Nathan was the person I was escalated to. So condescending. He told me that the IRS sent me to letters and bc I didn't respond I was now being sued and would be arrested if I didn't comply. He would be forced to sign an arrest warrant and would have police officers at my door within 2 hours. He said I was being sued that based on a tax audit between 2009-2014 I severely underpaid my taxes by $4900. Told me I needed to convert a money to an electronic payment voucher, hold for 24hrs then send to Federal Courthouse. If there was miscalculation, IRS would be reimburse me. When I asked for documentation, they could not supply that bc everything was turned over to the courthouse already. Really? So when I called him out being the scammer I was just reading about online, the line went silent and he came back with.. I'm sorry I didn't hear you, are you going to resolve this or not? Hmmm.. Well Mr. Benson, it's funny how both you and Lisa Wilson (badge # IRM11462) both sound like your from a foreign county rocking American names and have nerve to ask me if I'm from this country, or else I'll be deported? Really? Really?
