This Number is showing up as CBE GROUP on the caller ID. They are calling my Moms house and i don't live there anymore. I never have given them my mother's house number. so if you could help i would greatly appreciate it.

I actually just had a good interaction with them. time will tell if they actually take our number off their records.

They have called several times and an automated voice tells me to "wait for the CBE Group". I don't like to hold for people calling me so I usually just hang up. I called them back today and immediately got a rep on the phone. My husband has a very common first and last name. This causes problems frequently. I told the rep that while the names were the same they had the wrong number, because its always the wrong one. and she said she would remove our phone number! wish me luck that it worked.

I keep getting calls from CBE telling me i owe Direct Tv $1100.00 for canceling my account with them when one of their reps cancelled it. I told them i would not pay my bill of $ 59.00 a month for two months because they put in the wrong wire in my home by their installers so their for i could not get good reception or half the time no signal. The same Direct-Tv rep dinged my bank account for the 1100.00 and i had to fight to get it back with the help of my bank.

Started calling my mobile recently. Not a known number. Caller only stays on the line for maybe three rings before disconnecting. Never leaves a voicemail. No known outstanding bills or collections that I know of. Must not be too important. Spammer.

On the subject of DirectTV, my home currently has a DTV dish, but that was the previous homeowner's, as I have never subscribed to any of DTV's services and I currently have Comcast cable only. Maybe the previous homeowner has a final balance due bill for DTV and the collections agency keeps spamming calls to me since I occupy his former residence.

Putting this number on my Android's auto-reject list to always force it to go to voicemail.

They call every morning and every evening I have my phone set on fax; no ring.
I cancelled Direct TV because they automatically started billing me for That xtra-football program.
I had it one year and decided it was a big waste of money so i did not re -up following year. Direct TV did it for me without my permission. Their argument is they sent an email & I should have opted out. WRONG. That is illegal and a scam. If you are going to charge someone an extra 300 dollars you need to get it in writing or at the very least permission from a live person.
I was on auto pay and did not notice immediately a change in my bill. When I called them 2 months into the program they said i could not cancel, so I cancelled them and sent them a bill for what they scammed from me. heres the rub: after I cancelled my more then 7 years of loyal service they called me back several times saying the representative i talked to should have at the very least given me 150 back, and wanted my business back. I WAS FURIOUS! If anyone out there is interested in a class action suit against Direct Tv for their dubious business practices . I'm IN!!

they charged me 400 dollars for cancelling my account ..I had moved i suspended my account for about 1 year and when i finally moved the box quit working so i ask for another box and when I recieved it they gave me a 2 year service on my account for them upgrading a box that quit working soooo i told them i didnt authorize that and they didnt have my permission so i ask them who did it and how convient they couldnt tell me what a damn joke then they expect you to pay them 400 dollars or it goes on you credit lmao

These people call me 3 or 4 times a day. I have answered and told them to stop calling my cell phone. They keep calling and calling and will never leave a message. It is getting really old and needs to be stopped ASAP.

If you have an Android phone (Droid, EVO, Moment, etc.) download a free app from the android marketplace called "CallFilter" (wihtout quotes) it will automatically block them from calling you. You'll never even hear your phone ring again from them.

I too had direct tv is this them because I cancelled when I lost job and moved they were going to send boxes for their stuff but never did! There is never an office around to take it to yourself either! Will never use satellite of any kind again!!

I just got this call today - first to my home phone and a minute later to my cell phone. I had DirectTV 4 years ago when I moved into an apartment. When I bought a house the neighbor's tree made it impossible for me to get sattelite because there was no signal. I sent back the boxes and cancelled my account due to this. They sent me a bill for over $300 stating early termination of contract! When I called they said they I needed to mail a letter stating that 2 different contractors came out and were unable to get a signal and I did, but they still kept pursuing it and had a lawyer and 2 other creditors call me to collect this debt. The last time I talked to someone the amount was up well over $500. When I told them I was not paying because the contract was void when they were unable to provide me service, they said it wasn't their fault I decided to move before my contract was up! How are companies getting away with this behavior?
