"Dennis" trying to complete a mortgage application for my wife, referring to her name from 15 years ago. This after we used our credit union to apply for a prequalification letter. I'm sure it's one of the crooked credit bureaus passing our info to unscrupulous marketers. Pathetic.
Recently we spoke with "Quicken Loans" Mortgage loan company, we didn't make any decision based on the rates they offered. Few days later we have received a phone call from 321-504-5497, the person on the phone didn't even introduce he said that he knows we were "shopping for the rates" and he could qualify us for a good rate. When we asked who he was and how he knew our phone number (he didn't know our names though) he introduce himself as a "lender" and no first or last name just the "lender" who can qualify us for a good rate. I asked his name and the phone number to call him back, also I told him that due to scam I would research all the information he would provide. He said:"Have a nice day" and hung up the phone. He spoke very fast in a way he was scared us to understand what he says. I constantly had to ask him to repeat himself but he still spoke in a way as he was a salesperson on the auction. I marked the phone number as a Bank Scam for everyone to be aware of the phone number.
