He claimed to work for Visa, and told me I was eligible for a lower interest rate. I only answered to see what it was about, and when I was unsure the man wouldn't let me exit the conversation. After a long back and forth of me being skeptical and almost arguing with him, he somehow manipulated me into thinking it was a legit and I reluctantly complied. ("I understand your concern, but I am a Visa Employee, and this call is being recorded, etc.") He said I'd get a text soon and gave me a confirmation code, which I never got. Upon hanging up he told me I sounded pretty and asked if I had an Instagram, Facebook, and if I was married. That's when I knew I was scammed. I did not give him my actual credit card, but my debit that only had $20, which I immediately put a block on.
