The person on the phone started talking about buying something so I thanked her and said no. I dialed the number back and the recording said if you want to be on the do not call list press 1. I did so and they said it would be a couple of days and it would be totally removed.

The first time I received this call I let it play out because I wanted to talk with some one as to what exactly was being pitched to me and how they could identify me as a senior citizen. Said I was eligible for the National Senior Assistance Program and $3000 worth of coupons. After pressing 1 on the menu I was taken to a salesmen who said I was also eligible for free alert necklace and free equipment for alert system, just had to sign up for $34.95 monthly charge. Had a hard time getting salesperson to tell me what company was doing this - finally he told me Medical Alert. I told them that I was on a do not call list and that I would be reporting them. I tried but it was during the government shut down and this website was not up. A second call came today from this same company.
One message promised a free medical alert bracelet. The other message (number listed below)promised a $3,000.00 grocery savings certificate as well as a free medical alert bracelet.
