I was not home to take the call but in google-searching the number, many people report that it is from a "Home Design Center" soliciting remodeling/redecorating business -- by cold calling people that are on the federal DNC list!

I did not answer the call since I did not recognize the number, and they left no message on my machine. However, many other people on line have reported that it is some sort of referral service for local contractors.
