He did the same thing to me and my husband, he's a big time scammer (his ad is on Craigslist).
problem is he is not a spam caller, just a scammer that only scammed you. If it was me ide find him bring my cop frined with me and get every penny back it happend to me when someone sold me a broken computer on craigslist. I am also 6"4 and very built so i don't know if you can pull it off. Best thing to do is contact him on craigslist as someone else make him meet up with you corner him and take whatever he is selling "worth 600" bucks or whatever and leave he won't do ANYTHING.
He says, he's a student photographer/videographer/DJ at a Cal State University, I found his ad in Craigslist. When we hired him to do an event, he ask me for a deposit, half of the payment agreement because he wants a deposit to know we are serious about hiring him and to confirm and save the date. I had no issue with that. He never showed up to the event, I called and texted him, wanting my deposit back, never replied back, I lost $450. It was my fault for not signing a contract, if I signed a contract, I will be taking him to court!
