This is a student loan forgiveness scam - you'd probably heard this same exact script:

"Hi sorry I missed you this is a Jason Hunter again I was just going over your earlier request for student loan forgiveness. I want to try to get you a lower payment and I want to see if we can re-run your scenario today. There's some new programs out and I think they’re going to offer you a lower payment through the program you currently have. So could you please give me a call back today at 949-346-1223 so we can just pick it up if I'm not available when you call you can speak to any of the loan counselors in the office and they should be able to help you out. Thanks and have a great day. Bye."
