Never answer any calls take the number and Google it
This is a scam to determine what homes do not have security systems installed.
Caller: GE Security System
"Sales call". When you call back the message states if you hit any digit on your phone they will stop calling you. So I hit a button. And then it said "goodbye". Whoever it is, it isn't a real business number, as no name is mentioned, a typical scam call center with an internet phone so you have no idea which country they are calling from. My guess a call center that changes their sales scams on a regular basis to obtain credit card information to STEAL your money. Or worse.
Called at 2:57 pm today and again at 5:35 pm local time; answering device picked up both times; message plays; caller hung up both times, left no message. Caller ID says LOCAL.
Caller: Don't know. They hung up.
