now the phony irs is using 323-729-3061. it is bogus - a scam - they ask for your credit card and say they will take less $ than you "owe". do not fall for this. just block it.

I received the same message. A robo call from 323-729-3138 stating it was the final warning that the IRS was going to sue me.

Totally fake, my taxes are fine and it was the first time I've heard anything about it.

I'm in Miami, Fl. received a call a robo-message to call because of my taxes due. when I called a man with a heavy accent which I couldn't understand what he was saying. when I wouldn't give him any information, he told me police were on their way to arrest me. my Taxes are fine. this is bogus. this phone# is in California.

This number called out of California and left a robo-message on my phone today. Claimed to be the IRS. States that they have been trying to make contact with me and that the IRS is suing me. SCAM! Blocked the number!

From ohio :this number is a Phony irs lawsuit scam. I'm like there is no way the irs is filling a lawsuit against me . but I call the number back and I get the busy tone. Scammers !!!

same call about irs filing law suit against me, left the 323-729-3138 number to call back but called me from a seattle washington number 206-708-2849. checked both numbers and the seattle washington number is listed for several different scams.

Received call from 323 729 3138. Claimed to be IRS and threatened that they are filing a lawsuit against me. Requested I return call at this number. Lol like that was going to happen. I have 2 friends who got same call but don't know from what number. One is developmentally challenged and receives SSI. Doubt IRS would have any reason to go after him
