I try to have fun with them. Take up as much of their time as possible without giving them any vital information. Put them on hold, ask dumb questions, be very nice...anything to keep them on the phone. Causing them to use their time this way will eventually make it less profitable for them to use this scam.

Don't have name. Receive 4-6 calls each day. They don't leave message. When I call back I receive recording but no info.

called yesterday and again today, recorded msg that I have gotten from a dozen different phone numbers talking about updating my google listing for my business etc

Told the guy to take me off the calling list He said but why ? & I repeated it again He said it 1 more time But why In a sarcastic Tone I gave him some profanity :) I hung up and blocked the #

Answered today, they having been calling me continuously for months from this number and others. Checked my listings everything is fine. Phony background noise of people talking, person on the other end was waiting for me to say hello, did not and they said nothing, this was after they told me to hold a person would be with me. Walked away without hanging up for five minutes they finally disconnected never saying a word.
