This number has called 5 times today. When i answered the first call it was a delay then a recording saying the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me and I needed to call the number back. I know my taxes inside and out, but called back to see what they would do. When I questioned how much my tax debt was they hung up. Then I kept calling back and got different individuals identifying themselves as "Officer" _______ from the Office of Criminal Threat with the IRS. I asked to speak to real offices at the IRS and they would put me on hold, in short they hung up. I got cursed at one time before they did so. This is a scam and not how the IRS would do business.
