Definitely a scam. No Gov't agency will ever call you. Always contact by mail. The robo asked me to hit #1 on my phone. I did, got to a "service agent"who wanted my zip code. I gave it, I was then advised that my SS number had been "suspended" because I had 4 arrest warrants outstanding. She then wanted to read the info to me but I asked her to MAIL ME A COPY for my records. She immediately hung up the phone. I tried to call the number back only to find "the number you have reached is not a working number".. How stupid do these people think we really are ?
Call originated from "Texas" so the ID said..

Received a call from this number, 325-340-1215, on 4-29-2019. Claimed to be the investigation dept. of the Social Security Office. Much noise in the background, like in a room with many people on phones. The man called himself Michael Henderson, ID# 712074, and asked for my name, which I replied "you called me, you should know my name", he still asked so I gave it. He then asked for my zip code, and then the last 4 of my SS#. I said to him, give me the number of corporate office and I will call them. He hung up... Scam? Most likely.

Just received a call from 325-340-1215, said possible scam on my phone. I didn't answer. Caller left a message stating that they were calling from Social Security to let me know that me social security number has been suspended, and asked that I call back to avoid being arrested and having to go to court.

Just received call from this number said my ss # was suspended , I knew it was the scam that they've been reporting. Just make sure anybody out there they tell their elderly family members what's going on because I feel sorry the people that are being scammed by this Social Security fraud. The telephone number was 325-340-1215 it was a scam!!
Remember Social Security don't call you and ask you fir your social security number

Exact transcription of voicemail:
“This call is from the department of social security administration, the reason you have received his phone call from our department is to inform you that we just suspend your Social Security number because we found some suspicious activity so if you want to know about this case just press one thank you…”

SSN SCAM!! Coincidentally I just got off the phone with a real SSN government official and this number called me. I knew right away by the bad connection and background noise this was a scam. Telling me I was to be prosecuted for lying about my SSN. They asked for my name and then when I refused told me I was being recorded and could be prosecuted for lying!! When I told him I just got off the phone with SSD he said this was a follow up, a total lie. Do not answer this call!!
